My mom bought me a hand blender in the USA but it says it uses 120V. I would be using it in Germany. I plugged it in really fast and it worked. Is it even supposed to be working? Is it safe to use it here?

I've begged and pleated for years for him to be around more and not be abusive. And he won't stop being abusive. He is abusive to everyone behind closed doors. How does google know what city I live in?

like if i type in something... almost anything... ill use the random phrases: play dough, good food, seafood, cheap video cameras, cheap wallets, used toasters, kitchen blenders... candy.... roller rinks.... it know my city and state and stuff in my area... so if i type in something like white castle... the search suggests my zip code, state or city or both... and gives all the phones numbers to white castles in my area.... how do i get rid of this? there is a part that says my city and asks me if i want to change my location... but it wont let me disable it and says it "auto detects".... and i don't have google toolbar... so it says its using MY IP ADDRESS??!?!?! this is creepy... its creepy enough that they give me ads that relate to things iv googled in the past... every ad is something iv googled.... how can i disable this stuff or is their nothing i can do about it?

What type of paper is good for prismacolor markers to draw on?

How do you get rid of fruitflies?

I made a smoothie a few days and didn't wash the blender immediately because that was the only thing that was dirty. In 2 days, it filled up with about 100 fruit flies. I'm 13 years old and knowi am over weight (I weigh about 160-170 it fluxuates) so don't tell me (yes you are over weight or obese or whatever, I know that and it depresses me. I go to school from 6-2:30 five days a week then do homework until four and make dinner which on average takes 45 min for my whole family then eat and clean up from dinner then I take time to relax (about 15-30 min.) then take a shower and get in bed to read then go to bed. I try to eat healthy but it's hard when all my sister pleats is junk food (she dosent care if she's overweight) and my brother only eats pasta because everything else is "icky". It should have the ability to destroy a planet (complete utter destruction of the structure of the planet/no living lifeforms to be able to survive/no noticeable features other than assorted asteroids) using a ray/beam/cannon, as long as the ray/beam/whatever is able to be produced by a generator over a couple days, and to be able to be produced many times. This ray/beam/cannon must be able to hit and destroy the planet from a far enough range that the gravitational pull of the planet/asteroid/moons does not danger the station. To be efficient at destroying multiple planets, the station should be able to travel from system to system in fair time. When comparing my model to other models, I've noticed that a major flaw would be an exhaust shaft that, when fired with proton cannons, causes a mass meltdown and overall grand-destruction of the station. I have also discovered the existence of a tunnel, this was during production of the station, I'm not sure whether or not that this tunnel was intended to be covered up, but the entrance seemed to be finished, that led to the core of the station, and was vulnerable to destruction and inevitable meltdown. What to do about my boss/roommate yelling at her kids all day everyday?

I work as a nanny to 3 kids, and one is very difficult with huge emotional and behavioral issues. I have received numerous compliments from friends and there family on the positive changes that have came about since i have been there nanny. They went through 6 nannies in 3 years, and i am the only one who has stayed and taken an invested roll in the girl, of which i have been told no one else could get along with her. Well my question is, part of my pay, which is i believe to be below minimum wage, is to live at the house, since the mother works 24 hours shifts. I do not make enough to pay to live anywhere else. Well the problem is that the mother yells at the kids all the time, almost 6 to 10 times a day, i hear her yelling, and it seems to always be right outside my bedroom door, or my window, at ground level. I "hide" in my room constantly when the mother is here, part to give them there space, and privacy, and part because i do not enjoy interaction with the mother, because she always asks me to work overtime without pay, and she is always in a bad mood. the yelling is so distracting, and starts as soon as the kids get home from school, or when the whole family gets home from going somewhere. I can barely get anything done, from work, paying bills, all the work people have to keep up on, (looking for a new job), my entire to do list. The family is on vacation this week and i have been so productive with getting stuff done, that i have realized just how bad her yelling is effecting my emotional well being, and productivity. I have tried working in my car, and to hot this time of year, and i go to the library which is the best alternative, but then need to go get food, etc, and end up spending money, and not getting alot done because of people talking, or loud kids at the library. i would appreciate some idea's as to what other people would do in this situation. I am looking for another job, but with this economy it is a bit of a slow process. I feel if my room and board are part of the pay, i should have a right to a peaceful environment, and not have to listen to all that yelling, of which it doesn't take to get the kids to behave, they do just fine, and i NEVER yell at them, so as to show them that isn't the only way to communicate. Also when there mother is here, all the kids yell alot also, and the girl screems all the time, and fights with her brothers, when im on duty and the mother is gone, non of the kids yell, or scream or fight. It is very peaceful when she isnt here, and when she is, you can tell the anxiety of the kids goes through the ceiling, as does mine. If i were to say something to her, what would be appropriate? I always always use a sponge to apply foundation. It gives a more even coverage and is easier to use but everybody is different so try out a few different ways and see what works for you best. I am 37 weeks pregnant. Had a dr appointment today in which she told me I was 1 cm dialated and then she basically turned my vagina into a human blender and said that moved me to 4 and it should get some contractions going. It's a nice dress but it's not one that screams out 'wow..so sexy!' and is super attention grabbing. It looks like a really classy dress to me, something you'd wear to a fancy dinner party or perhaps a formal wedding. Since the dress is so plain and black, I would recommend wearing it with some colorful accessories. For example, I think it would look really cute with some red bangles and red shoes. My cheer skirt was made too small for me at the waist and I have a pretty big hip. Since it's too tight, it makes it so much shorter. I really like potatoes, yellow onions and cauliflower - cooked until soft in chicken stock (boullion cubes are fine) and then blended. I make this in a medium-thick version, then add stuff based on my mood: cooked chicken and mild chiles is a favorite addition. This soup keeps well and you can also season with ground cumin to make it a bit MIddle Eastern.

I work at IHOP, and I make $3.62/hr. Minimum wage where I live is $7.25. I often go an hour or so without any tables at all, because I work nights. No dear. The whipping cream needs to have air infused into it. The blender will not be able to do this. Use a small electric hand mixer instead and it's best to chill the bowl and beaters before you start. It helps.

I live in Maricopa County AZ. My mother was co-tenant on my lease. She passed away 06/22/11. Now I HAVE to move, but I'm in the middle of a 12 month lease. My landlord has no mercy-she says if I move out under ANY circumstances, I'm am breaking the lease-there is NO condition in which I can legally void my lease. Do I have any rights here? I currently have a cattle dog mix who will catch squirrels without even injuring them, but I used to have two terriers who would kill and eat lizards, birds, snakes, mice, rats, etc. Basically anything that would fit in their mouth. I think it depends a lot on the dog, and maybe the breed. Terrier were bred to kill rodents, but cattle dogs are supposed to herd and keep safe the flock. Labs, at least, are bred as retrievers, so it makes sense that he wouldn't eat it.

I found a 2 bedroom apartment for $675 a month. I did the math and if I found a job that paid minimum wage and I work 8 hours a week i'd make $1152 a month. I'm 13 years old and knowi am over weight (I weigh about 160-170 it fluxuates) so don't tell me (yes you are over weight or obese or whatever, I know that and it depresses me. I go to school from 6-2:30 five days a week then do homework until four and make dinner which on average takes 45 min for my whole family then eat and clean up from dinner then I take time to relax (about 15-30 min.) then take a shower and get in bed to read then go to bed. I have to wake up at 530 if I want to catch the bus at 6. I'm stressed all the time and can't find time to work out. I try to eat healthy but it's hard when all my sister pleats is junk food (she dosent care if she's overweight) and my brother only eats pasta because everything else is "icky". My school is all one level so its not like I could use the stairs instead of te elevator. It's mostly my stomach and thighs. I heard that if you are a vegetarian it's easier to lose weight. It is much more expensive to buy takeaway food than to cook it yourself. You can do amazing things with microwaves. You will have to think and prepare somethings in advance but once you get the hand of it you should be fine. How about looking in a second hand store for a slow-cooker as with a slow cooker and a microwave you can do AMAZING meals. The slow cooker would save you lots of money in the long run as you can cook beans, meats etc. and the cheaper items cook much better in a slow cooker than expensive cuts.

Where i live in England it is cold and wearing a skirt that short is unacceptable. If we wore our skirts that short then our blazers would cover it and look like we are wearing nothing. Year 7 skirts are longer because they aren't pulling them up as much as older years. The skirt would be about 2 inches above the knee and older years pull them up higher to a bit more. Some people pull it up so high you don't know its there from the back because of the blazer and some a bit longer about an inch under the bum. Short is considered when you stand up and put your arms down - before that height is short. I personally would hate boys looking under my skirt but most girls wear black shorts under the skirt so that bending isn't a problem. The short are short but its normal so yeah. Hope i helped.

If it's the navy skirt you mean then I'd say that's okay - I think the green one is a little too short for a school uniform. I live in victoria but my school is all girls. We have a skirt in our winter uniform - it is meant to be knee length but most people roll it so it is quite short like yours. I like it but I usually wear tights underneath (warmer in winter too!). If I don't wear tights I usually wear bike shorts (also worn under summer dress), as do most of the other girls. It is not so much at school that is the problem seeing as we are all girls, more so old men on the trains or trams if we accidentally bend over or the wind blows.. :/

I'm currently a 3rd year student at a community college. I need to know if my husbands job is allowed to take away labor hours?

my husband works for a car care company. The manager recently told him that when he cant get a customer to agree to the work needed to fix there car, he will cut the labor time it calls for so that he can get the sale. So if the computer calls for 3 hours labor the manager is cutting it down to 1.5 hours labor. This wouldn't really be that big of deal except my husband gets paid more if he brakes base, but he cant brake base if the labor hours are cut. So i need to know if they are allowed to do this? My husband at one time used to manage that shop and was not being treated fairly so he ended up quiting and they recently called him and asked him to come back. I have in the past called wage and hour on them for shorting him on his check for a holiday. he was getting paid salary and the week for the holiday they changed his salary amount down 100. so he didn't get paid for it. They ended up having to pay it back to him, I really just need to know if this is legal and if not where can i call to complain? please any help

Sunglasses lens are blurry?

I just got new sunglasses from Target. The first hour or so i had them on (i was wearing them for fun, and I forgot to take them off while walking around the house) they seemed fine, nothing wrong! But then I try them on again, and the right lens was blurry. I took a look at them under the light, and there were little lines on the glasses. I don't know the right word, but it looked like pleats in the plastic. The lines were raised from the plastic. I don't think its a flaw in teh plastic, because like I said, they were fine for the first hour! Can anyone explain what this is and/or know how to fix it? should I return them?

I have been offered a job as Sessional Support Worker. Support Worker for this company is my ideal job so I was delighted after having been unemployed for a few months. This is my second time posting guys. Sorry. Honestly I am not trolling and I just really some honest opinions. I worked for a company for 5 years, known my manager for roughly 10 years, best friend I have ever had. We were so close, as if she was another family to me. Until this day changed me severely. My manager was hispanic, and trust me her ethnicity whatsoever does not bother me. Until recently my manager aka best friend laid off 4 employees roughly two weeks ago who I also known( they were not of hispanic decent) The new employees she hired recently were all hispanic. I was the minority of the company( I will not say what my race and nationality) I started to feel that my manager was somewhat racist. Until today I realized that I found out that the employees she hired were all illegal immigrants. I discussed with manager aka best friend, about why she fired the previous employees and hired new illegal immigrants. She gave me a lame excuse that they were not working hard enough or wage and hours were too high, etc. I told my manger that she needs to report these illegal immigrants she hired. She refused and threatened to fire me if I told on her. After I gave it a long thought, I decided to call anonymously the police and ICE on my manager and employees. After they came they took her and told me I was fired. Later the supervisor of the franchise location, decided to make me the new manager(which is a huge responsibility.) At the same time, I feel so disgusted that "betrayed" my best friend. Guys really and I actually being serious about this. Did I really do the right thing...??? I mean because I feel so guilty for what I did. And even myself, I am sick of these illegal immigrants and I know America is.

If all he has borrowed is $135, that's nothing. loan him the $150 or make yourself feel better about it and don't loan it to him, find jobs around your house that need to be done that you do not have the time for, pay him for doing those. That way it is not a loan but payment for services. And he doesn't have to feel guilty about owing you money.

He works at tops, and I work at a restaurant, Im a busser making 4.25 an hour plus tips, I walk out of work with about 80 dollars a night and thats on a slow day.I work from 4-9. Only three days a week right now. So I make around 300 in three days. Plus my boyfriends wages. The apartment we want is 375 a month. Tenants have to pay for water and electricity. I have a car, my parents told me when I move out I would still be allowed on their insurance as long as I pay 100 dollars a month. So putting everything together gas, rent, food, insurance. Do you think we would make it with both of our incomes?
